I'm sure you've noticed by now, but if not I've just watched it in full on iplayer from the point I left it to head to the match. Looks like it's on there in two parts but I only needed to catch up on the last 70km, which was within part 2.

I did the same around Halloween a few years ago... It was very, very cold at the top of the big roller coaster. Some of the mazes were pretty impressive actually.

I think the Halifax kit was worth a goal head start though. It was blindingly bright from memory.

I "celebrated" my 18th birthday at Priestfield... A handshake with Brian Horton, a signed ball and defeat to Halifax Town. A day to cherish. Kept going back for more though.

Interesting point. I brought this topic up in interviews with Gedge and Shaun so far. There are obviously a few talking points about the recording process back then and differing opinions. There'll be even more now that the re-recorded version is due out...

Enjoy! The band have said this tour will be the last time ever it will be played live. Gedge made some interesting points as to the reasons for this in our initial interview. They hadn't really crossed my mind until then but good to hear an alternative opinion from the other side of things.

What a low that night was. Felt like we dropped a million miles behind after the result. I sat in the first row behind the director's box. An entertaining spot in those days!
