Fingers crossed you can.
4pm is a little awkward, yes, but it was necessary with David's commitments to ATEOTS later on. Seems to be selling well regardless.
Final reminder for anyone thinking of attending the film screening at Duke of York's today. It's followed by a live Q&A with David Gedge and (Albion fan) Shaun Charman.
Should be tickets left on the door or through the website in advance...
Hi again everyone.
The Wedding Present documentary I made will be screening at Duke of York's on August 10th. It's an early screening though to cater for people attending 'At The Edge Of The Sea' down at Concorde afterwards. Being a Friday though, it's worth an hour or so off work!
It screens...
If anyone is down Bristol way, my film has its UK premiere on Saturday 30th June.
It’s screening at Watershed as part of the Doc’n Roll film festival and starts at 4pm.
Tickets here if anyone is interested...
Thanks but unfortunately I looked into it a while ago and this is on the Cinecity website under the submission rules:
4. Films must be no longer than 45 minutes. Please note: unfortunately, we are not accepting features this year
I've screened a short there before, so it would have been nice to...
They were perfect for my needs. 100 odd capacity. In fact I'm off there shortly to collect my giant lobby poster and kill some time before an overnight flight home.
No. Just out here briefly with the film I'm afraid.
Hopefully something local, yes. Depends if CineCity will have it or something, otherwise it's incredibly expensive to put a film on independently.
The Toronto screening went down very well thanks and also the Q&A afterwards with Mr Gedge...
In the very unlikely event that anyone finds themselves at a loose end in Toronto this weekend...
My feature documentary "Something Left Behind" is screening at the Carlton Cinema on Saturday.
Thanks so much for the support. Glad to hear that the flyers on the merch stand did their job!
Shaun is originally from down here yes. Met up with David at Leeds uni and the other guys. Keith was the real (far) Northerner!
There has been an overwhelming response to the film today. I feel yet...
Almost certainly do something locally, yes.
It's looking increasingly likely it might get a first screening out in Austin when the band play SXSW next year. It's then got a screening in Toronto late March. The rest of the year is still being worked on...
Thanks for the support. You should be able to order some of the stuff through the website as well next year.
George Best is certainly David's least favourite record! That really made it an interesting year making the doc about it and interviewing THE ex-girlfriend. It clearly resonates with so...
Shame I won't be able to hear it from Istanbul. Watched the guys last show of the year here last night and had a bit of a celebration.
First home game missed in years though!
