    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

Well, they would say that wouldn't they.

[Albion] Pascal Groß the raumdeuter - officially leaves for Dortmund :(

What an afternoon that was, against a decent Millwall side that featured a certain Teddy Sheringham.

[Help] Coaching football for the first time...help!

Certainly not in training for the younger age groups. There is going to be a trial of no heading in matches in some U12 and younger leagues this season, with a view to adopting it across the board next season.

[Help] Coaching football for the first time...help!

The Playmaker course is a great introduction to how to set up for training and making it inclusive, and you can do it in your own time. It won't give you specific drills, but there are plenty to look through on the FA website (and elsewhere) and can usually be searched for specific age groups...

    Trump

This story is getting wild, Trump and the GOP tried to start some Obama document whataboutery, only to get instantly slapped down by the National Archive themselves.

    Trump

This always reminds me a bit of when FIFA found no evidence of Russia bribing delegates to get the World Cup after all the computers they'd used in the bid had conveniently been destroyed. Mueller was quite specific about not exonerating the Trump campaign, and pointed out that there was...

    Trump

Particularly when you're also trying to undermine appointees of the person you're trying to support. FBI head appointed by Trump. Judge that signed off the search warrant, yep you guessed it, appointed by Donald J Trump. Even the law he is probably going to get accused of breaking was signed...

[Football] Manchester United Fans - A bit of perspective required

They bought the club with a mortgage on Old Trafford, an asset they didn't own until the deal had been completed. I can't fathom how that could be legal, but there you go.

    Trump

Ah, but he was talking about people other than him. He is a fine upstanding citizen who is being treated so unfairly, more unfairly than anyone in history!

    Trump

The judge that signed off on the warrant was also a Trump appointment apparently. The former President has a copy of the warrant and an inventory of everything removed from Mar-a-Lago which he'd be quite within his rights to make public, which would mean everyone would know why the FBI were...

[Politics] Tory meltdown finally arrived [was: incoming]...

Agreed, there was no political downside to answering Nick Robinson's 'human' question. She later went on to say she was wrong to campaign against brexit when the more reasonable answer would have been to say that she didn't regret it but the reality of the situation now is the one she has to...

    [Football] Heading Ban For Youngsters

It is clear from the FA's statement that the trial may not be in every competition, and I haven't heard from the league Junior Orange's team is in as to whether or not they are participating yet. I don't have a problem with not coaching headers at the level I coach at, and I don't actively...

[Football] PL introducing multiball system to reduce timewasting

I remember the last we had multi-ball. Little Hinsh booted one into the trees, and the ball boy was a bit too enthusiastic so the opponents scored whilst everyone else was celebrating the time-wasting :D
