We were fantastic in the Nightmare on London Road game, but this was leagues above that... and Liverpool managed to keep all their players on the pitch!
Curious Dad reckoned that is the best he's ever seen us play, so that'll do for me.
Scintillating is a word you couldn't use too many times in a description of the Albion's performance today.
The Goldstone was sold in '95, we were angry renters in '97 when the last game was played.
Apologies for the pedantic comment, but history is important.
Mrs Orange took ours down while I went out for a run this morning... I don't suppose she'll put them up in the roof whilst I'm in the office tomorrow...
I've not really had anything to write about lately, especially as I haven't run for three weeks.
Anyway, I hauled myself out for a trot around Guildford parkrun in a sedate 22-ish minutes, probably not helped by Stoke Park having turned to mush in the thaw.
Brighton was a proper railway town, what with the locomotive works, the carriage works in Lancing where my grandfather worked (my Mum had a couple of B.R. Lancing stamped knives for many years until the dishwasher eroded them), and the Pullman carriage works too. You wouldn't know it now.
Probably depends on what chip is running the engine. My '63 plate Fiesta has no bother going up hills, and that is with the middle of the three versions available at the time.
I've been pissing about with the rads for days trying to get them to heat evenly and noticed the return pipe into the boiler was almost as hot as the flow to the touch, I pulled up the boiler diagnostics and it was only a couple of degrees difference. My understanding is that condensing mode...
Much more than we should be currently, I've identified an issue with the the plumbing which means the boiler can't get into condensing mode and has to work harder than it should to get heat to radiators in the original part of the system. Not entirely our plumbers fault as there is clearly an...
I noticed that the Dutch were man marking him for at least the second half (I was sat in the car listening on the radio first half whilst Junior Orange had goalie training). I guess they worked out that he is Messi's supply line.
I'm not a heating engineer so probably not the person to ask, though from what I've read for a condensing boiler to work, and where the radiators are properly balanced, the flow temperature when it returns back into the boiler should be about 45 C. My target flow temperature (out of the boiler)...
Ideal weather for fine-tuning the balance of the radiators and attempting to improve the efficiency of the boiler by lowering the target flow temperature...
Because they weren't, and it wasn't (still at the factory 75 C). No point in having a condensing boiler if it isn't.
I have now set the programmer to on, so if the thermostat detects a temperature drop to less than 16 C tonight it can fire the boiler... though I'm not sure if it will go off tbh!
Spotted big Bob comforting Morata at the end there, the number 7 was in floods of tears and our number 1 just looked disappointed. Must be odd being part of something like this but not getting to play.
I have no sympathy, if their number 18 had held the line it'd have been offside.
... I'm just a bit grumpy as Junior Orange's team were holding an okay line first half today but were sitting too deep, and when told about it at half-time still sat too deep, lost the shape completely, and shipped...
