[Misc] IF there's a Christmas lockdown - would you comply?

Yes, because I believe the scientists, and I'd do it to support the NHS, and most obviously for the safety of my family & others. Nothing to do about political opinion, but I feel for the vast majority, they make it political. Selfishness seems to be winning in this country.

[Albion] The first crack in Graham Potter's calm demeanour?

He had a pop after another draw; against West Brom 2 seasons back. I love him, but having a go at your own supporters is never a good idea. It definitely came across as patronising.

    [Music] The Piranhas collected works

Only saw The Lambrettas at the Alhambra, at least that's all I can remember. Jez Bird, another taken too soon. Dougie Sanders from the band lived a few houses away down Landport Estate, Lewes. Gave my Mum a signed album; she preferred Roy Orbison. :)

Can't remember Chicane, but I'm glad I wasn't dreaming about the Bucaneer.

    [Music] The Piranhas collected works

Everyone mentions the Alhambra on a Sunday night, but unless my mind is playing tricks on me, I could swear they mostly at the Bucaneer on a Sunday night. We used to come from Lewes as our classmate, Dick Adland (Slexia) RIP, was the drummer. Big Albion fan too, great lad. Other bands I saw...

[Misc] Complaining. In restaurants or in general…

Mrs S is a waitress in a well known Worthing restaurant, and previously worked as a Restaurant Hostess on cruise ships (where we met) & prior to that Hilton in Dubai; so very experienced & seen it all; complaints are part of the job. Mistakes can happen, especially in a high pressure busy place...

    Music at your funeral ?

Went to a funeral last week. Old Navy mate, hung himself after his marriage break up. First song at the memorial was, "For all the girls I've loved before". Very odd & slightly uncomfortable.

[Albion] oh my days win at Palace and we're top of the league

I was thinking of how I'd like this game to go. If I could write the script, I'd have Palace 2-0 up at HT. Listen to all the pundits slate us & heap praise on Viera. Then 2nd half, total domination & a Maupay hat trick, with the winner in the 93rd minute. Scenes.

[Help] What is a "Bognor Regis"?

I'd never actually been there until my stint delivering for Argos during lockdown. Some nice bits, some rough bits. Like everywhere else really. I wonder if those from Bognor who started following Pompey at their peak are feeling the pull of their Sussex roots from the east. You chose your bed...

    Official Running Thread

Yes I was doing that, plus even a few fartlek sessions. I suppose hitting 60 is slowing me down a bit, but I think sub 50 is quite achievable.

    Official Running Thread

First run on land for 4 months today. Been on a ship without getting off, so been using treadmill, thought I was doing ok. I was absolutely blowing out of my hoop; only did 5.5k. 28 mins. Maybe a little jet lag, but very disappointed. Need to get cracking if I want that sub 50 in the Brighton 10k.
