Not sure how old the kid was, but I imagine was hoping for the Boro players to see the funny side, escort the kid back, meet & greet with the dad, and free signed shirt and free tickets to a future game, plus an interview with Sky Sports about the 'funny' event.
On remembrance Sunday, we passed a permanent board with details of a young boy who died there in the 2nd World War. There was a man there, a descendent of the boy's sister, in tears as some tosser had done 'tags' all over it. Luckily, the stuff they used wasn't permanent, so myself and my wife...
Maybe one day someone will damage something that these morons cherish, and maybe then they might understand what utter twats they'd been. But I doubt it.
With Hereford the following weekend, it really was a double header of roller coaster emotions.
I'm really gutted, as my Dad (who never went, but knew the club meant a lot to me) took his video camera to the ground during the week before, got in and took loads of footage. Then on the last game...
I always wish I'd see myself or my friends on these videos, but never do - annoying, as I think I was standing about 2 metres from the cameraman in the North
I'm looking forward to the Euros. Plus I think the race for the title between Arsenal and Chelsea is worth keeping an eye on. Not physically been to a women's game yet though.
The car didn't seem to be going that fast, he even mounted the grass to give them space. I suspect the cyclist fell over because of the actions of the bike in front, or her own.
Can we not cut the grass this week, just incase Sargent gets another open goal?....
I need to win this for family bragging rights. Gone 1-0. A repeat of the 5-0 from the Championship days would be better of course.
Unfortunately, I can beat your record! I've missed half the home games, been to one away, and my dismal record is:
0 wins
2 Brighton goals scored
(both goals were penalties...)
Surely I can't get through a whole season without seeing a win, or even a goal in open play!
Luckily for the team...
