I was a bit meh about the new home kit, but now I'm loving it - unfortunately I can't afford to buy one though, looks like I'll be dragging out the same old aged top this season!
I agree about respect shown to officials, and also between the opposing players. It seems to be less begrudging hand shake, and more friendly embraces and joking about. Like everything on Monday, this is a breath of fresh air!
I have to say that I absolutely loved last night. First women's game of any sort, and England played so well. The atmosphere was so unlike our usual games here, and it was a real joy to see all the kids having so much fun. There was a girl, prob about 9, in front of me who after the third went...
I wouldn't particularly want one for our games, but it did help last night. For thousands there last night that have never been to a game, and the many thousands of kids, they wouldn't know how to start a song, there would have only been a lot of random clacker bashing (ok, there was that too)...
