    [Football] Euros 2024 - Matchday 7

Rice isnt a traditional number 6 sitting DM, he isnt very good at that role at all, when under pressure at the back, with his back to goal or on the half turn, hes much better as an 8 higher up the field, and thats where he's played well for West Ham and Arsenal to much greater effect. The...

Agreed, you should take the best available English left back rather than play right footed player imho. If Chillwell and Colwill (I know a left footed CB really) are not availble too. Tyrick Mitchell of Palace or even our own BDB of Newcastle would have been better options.

[Football] Would you replace Southgate mid tournament?

Get Potter straight in there But the suits in the FA wouldn't. More chance they'll try and persuade their vanilla yes man to sign a new contract than sack him mid tournament.

    [Football] Euros 2024 - Matchday 7

The 2 biggest problems last night were Harry Kane and Declan Rice, both dropping too deep and pulling England back too deep with no out ball option. Rice is always going to the CBs to take the ball, Stones and Guehi are more than capable of passing it out and through the lines themselves. Kane...

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

5 great bits of news yesterday. 1. The US is going to halt all production and orders for patriot missiles to every 3rd party that had orders and will allocate every patriot off the production line to Ukraine, until it has all it needs 👏 (Romania had just sent 1 more system). 2. After...

[Football] What is the best (and worst) line in football commentary you have ever witnessed?

Best is probably Martin Tyler "Agueroooooooo" And then Merson in the Studio "they're all cuddling each other, theyve got lovebites and everything"
