Going on the BBC player ratings (I don’t have a better sauce) Mac Allister has been rated quite highly in all bar the Bournemouth game when he was unfairly sent off. So seems to be settling in fine.
I really think he will stay all the time he thinks the club can improve. If we qualify for the Champions League for next season (not completely crazy and I’m sure it’s what RDZ is targeting) then I’m sure he’ll stay. Even if we don’t, as long as he feels backed enough to have a realistic chance...
I used to be tier 1 before I had children. At the time I also had a reasonable amount of disposable income (children and nursery fees have ended that) but even back then I think I’d probably have opted to do just one for the experience (probably Ajax). Assuming total costs of about £500 per away...
I was thinking the same thing. When I look back at previous windows I wasn’t wowed by the signings of Mitoma, Caicedo, Enciso etc but they were all amazing signings.
I’d seen you mention the famine part before, but I hadn’t realised quite how much you were feasting before. I’ve never managed all 46 games, my best was 42 - holiday, sickness and midweek away at Wigan prevented the clean sweep.
I guess I’m lucky to be bowing out at a time when so many games...

Sorry to hear about your dad. My dad’s 76 and although the day was always going to come that he had to stop going I thought until recently that that day was still a good few years away.
I feel sorry for my dad that he won’t be able to attend an European game. Having started going in 1964 it...
Please forgive a self indulgent post.
My request to cancel mine and my dad’s season tickets has been accepted and I’ve paid the cancellation fee.
For the first time in 33 years my dad and I don’t have a season ticket.
(Ok we didn’t have one for the first season at Gillingham but we still...
I lived in Brixton for a year about 10 years ago. It felt very middle class. But there were still estates where people were stabbing each other. It was like the two worlds co-existed alongside each other without overlapping.
I’ve never really liked West Ham fans. I remember one game at theirs (I think it was a 3-1 win for us) and when we scored one of our goals this West Ham fan near us was going mad shouting of sorts of homophobia stuff. Anyway he caught my eye so I blew him a kiss, he went ballistic. Perhaps not...
Read the following on the BBC.
Speaking on The Footballer's Football Podcast, Antonio said: "They are basically on the ball, nearly as good as Manchester City. I don't know where they have come from. Over the last couple of years, they have become an unbelievable team.
