This is basically what I was going to say. If you’re from Croydon and support Palace that’s much better than coming from Croydon and supporting Man United.
These type of suggestions (move threads to a sub forum - RIP threads are often targeted) seem to come up a lot, and I always struggle to see why the above is so hard.
But this is how we have acquired our best players ever. Mac Allister signed and loaned back to South American club, Caicedo signed and loaned out, Mitoma signed and loaned out, Bissouma signed not loaned out but took a few years to become good, Ben White came through the youth team etc. This is...
In fairness half of our league wins (4) came in the opening 5 games. We have then won 4 from the next 17. That’s a pretty stark comparison.
Once we get our injured players back and if we avoid too many more injuries I think we’ll get far more than 4 wins from our next 16 games.
Wasn’t that much more recently during a Championship away game at Millwall? And was reported as the Millwall fans singing it?
Or maybe it’s happened more than once.
Edit: mentioned here 2004.

When you say ‘agreed with the signing’ what level of information on the signing are you expecting him to have? Is it watched him live, watched videos of games he played in, watched clips, read a report from the scouting department…?
My guess is that with international recruitment and the...
I think it’s because the transfer fee is spread over the length of the contract. And most signings are over 8 years so divide their crazy spending by 8 and it’s not that bad. It does mean they will get to a point of needing to sell before they buy at some point.
I think dividing the transfer...
Is that how it works?
This is my first season without a season ticket in 32 years. In terms of season ticket points I was typically at the high end of the second tier for away games.
I am now an Albion+ member with 226 member points. If I go back to being a season ticket holder do none of...
I was one of the 2,000 that regularly went to Priestfield. I now don’t have a season ticket and I’ve been to two games this season. I can’t see how I’ve got any claim to be near the front of the queue.
Still lots of available tickets. On a VERY rough count it looks like over 3000 left.
If (a very big if) we get to the final do we have any idea how many tickets we’ll get?
After the game someone did make the point that Brighton cope better with injuries than West Ham as everyone who comes in knows exactly what their role is.
