Forest are a physical cynical low possession side. Much like Everton and Fulham, they are another side that play horrible football and we usually struggle against these sort of teams. I think we could do with Baleba in midfield for some extra strength in there.
I remember us having seasons like this before (eg. 2013/14 under Oscar Garcia, the first season at the Amex). I think it was to be expected this season which raises the question of why the squad wasn’t strengthened more in the summer or we should have kept some of the loan players we’ve let go?
I thought this would drag on for ages. Everton are best off accepting the punishment now as they are very unlikely to get relegated this season even with the deduction.
Barber has let himself down massively by doing an interview with that cretin. All this talk of succession plans is overstated as well as we let Caicedo and Mac Allister go without any obvious plan to replace them with anyone decent which means we’ve gone into our first European campaign with a...
This will sound negative but we are considerably weaker than last season. None of the new signings have been close to the level of the players they have replaced. We are well placed in the league but the performances haven’t been great and we are arguably in a false position. I’d be very...
He’s spot on. Even though the majority of Premier League referees are weak and barely seem to understand the rules of football, they have a deluded arrogance about them.
They are also very well paid so deserve all the criticism they get as the mistakes they have been made since VAR was...
I see De Zerbi has said he doesn’t like 80% of English referees. He’s completely right. All Premier League referees are arrogant with no obvious understanding of football.
Isn’t he the moron who couldn’t draw the lines correctly when we played palace last season? There is not one referee in the premier league who could be considered competent.
Sheffield United were one of the worst teams I’ve seen at this level since we got promoted. Even with 10 men, we should have beat them so drawing against such a bad team definitely feels like a defeat.
Sheffield United don’t seem to have much pace in their team. This team should be good enough to get the win:
Verbruggen
Veltman
Igor
JPVH
Groß
Baleba
Dahoud/Gilmour
Fati
Mitoma
Pedro
Adingra
Yep, he does seem to be the target of some unnecessary dirty tackles. The Berghuis one last night seems to have gone under the radar but he stamped down on Ferguson’s ankle and you could see the blood coming through his sock.
Booking players for dissent and time wasting was a fad for the first couple of weeks of the season. Typical weak management by the moronic PGMOL and the incompetent Premier League officials.
