I know it is never likely to happen but i think the best way to stop examples as bad as that would be to show it on a big screen to everyone in the stadium. I would imagine the resulting jeering, laughter and derision would soon have the desired effect.
But none of us know if that was the opening bid or a response to their opening bid. If, for instance, they had asked initially for 10 million it would make sense to counter with a low offer so as to settle for somewhere in the middle.
Let me start by saying i also would not be enamoured by a Potter return but i am curious to know whether you also saw RDZ's body language and statements this season as disrespectful because i am sure i did.
But i need to know now!! :tantrum:
It will come as no surprise to you to learn that one of my pet hates is a drama series of several episodes that in the end leaves it up to the viewers to decide the ending for themselves!
What is that all about ???
Rant over, i'm happy now! :)
I must admit to being slightly unsettled by it. Partly because of the strange pub sequence (pay by phone, £5 for a coke, everyone in on the wind up) and the split between Ruby and mum but mostly because i always want a defined and explained ending!
The only thing i thought i understood was that...
Yes we had a hard run in but i think even given that fact we definitely under performed to a large degree.
Do you remember the poll that appeared on here with 10 games to go about how many points we would get from those games?
4 people got the correct figure of 6 points but of the remaining 331...
At first glance i thought you had made a mistake in your post saying both "I am sad he has left" and "I am pleased he has gone" then i reread and completely understood where you are coming from. It makes sense to be both happy with his early enthusiasm and Europe etc and sad with the shenanigans...
I absolutely could not agree more with your second paragraph, beautifully stated.
However today i was looking at the programme for the Arsenal home game on the 6th April and the latest table in the back. Both ourselves and Palace had played 30 matches with 8 to go and we were 13 points ahead and...
This to me neatly sums up the difference between most of our fans and most of their's, the arrogance that comes from choosing to take the easy option at a young age of backing a winner and never growing up enough to realise that there is more to life than just always being successful.
It is also...
Well done sir, you were one of four along with @El Turi @Bulldog and @Denis .
I must admit to being curious as to whether, when you voted for six points, you slightly had your tongue in your cheek ?
So with one game left of the ten only three possible outcomes remain 6,7 or 9 points. A total of 22 voters remain in the running to be correct predictors although i am guessing most would have preferred to be wrong if it meant more points for the Albion.
290 out of the 325 voters went for a...
That link applies to a change that was made in 19/20 but confusingly a page i have just looked at on current premier league rules does not distinguish between europe qualification and other clubs. It simply says position will be decided by pts/gd/gs/h to h .
Yes before i looked i would have sworn that i was in the middle of the vote but it turns out there were nearly twice as many who voted higher than my 12 than voted lower. In the cold light of day that seems scarcely believable!
I was reminded about this poll by HWT and thought it worth bouncing so all those who voted 10 or more (me included) can reflect on the error of their ways!
Yes i know we could still theoretically get to 17, but come on!!!!!
