Horsham going LD has made me quite emotional. I cast my first ever vote there when Major got stuffed in 1997, and even in that election it was an easy Tory win and just felt like a futile exercise.

Maybe, but with 92 and only 86 left in play I’ll make a friendly bet that they end up closer to the original exit poll prediction of 130 than the last revised prediction of 144.
And anyway, the pollsters account for these nuances. They’re incredibly accurate when it comes to exit polls and usually get to within a percentage margin of error when it comes to prediction of seats won.
Just voted. The ID check was farcical. Handed my driving licence to bloke on one desk who checked the photo was me, then went to a separate desk to get my voting card where they didn’t bother cross checking whether the name/address I gave them was the same as the name on my ID 🤷♂️
