The way the motorbikes are going this year is crazy. I've never known a year like it.
Are they using more of them?
Getting less qualified (read cheaper) riders?
Are they more powerful/wider and the pilots aren't used to them?
Something has clearly changed this year, for the worse.
Not having a one-way system that diverts everyone away from the shopping centre (which has pedestrianised streets lined with empty shops). I'd say that the one-way system is the single biggest reason for Newhaven having sod all going for it.
Yeah, as I said during the tour it feels like this year has seen way more motorbike vs cyclist accidents. 1 per year is stupid, we must be almost in double figures by now.
He's got every right to be cross, and his injuries looked pretty sore.
I'm not sure who they are hoping to sue? The pilot...
Love the typo.
It now looks like he's gone home on a strop India's of leaving early to prepare for the worlds.
I feel sorry for the organisers of the vuelta. They always get the short straw on riders leaving early to prep for the worlds. Not sure they could legally do much about it.
I thought, with Tejay's early exit from the Tour, that he'd be fresh for the vuelta. Sadly it wasn't to be. Time for me to jump on steephill and play catchup.
