"The Men who flew the Mosquito" by Martin W. Bowman, funnily enough it's about the men who flew the Mosquito during WW.2. it gives compelling and informative accounts of the missions carried out and the aircrew involved.

I think when it comes to both World wars the Americans certainly need a history lesson! As far as American T.V. / films go it is very much a case of why let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Very true, I go to Northern Finland in -20⁰c and lower (-38⁰c is the coldest) and feel quite comfortable but a damp windy night at the Amex has me freezing my bollocks off, even wearing some of my cold weather gear I use in the Arctic.Some Finnish and Latvian friends of mine always complain...
