As a general message I'm still here but was told today that I'm off (officially suspended but it will be off) the trial I was on due to sh*t side...
I considered myself an alcoholic, not because of the absolute volume I drank (but it was a lot by comparison to 21 units a week) but because I could not go a single day without a drink for years. That was despite 'trying' not to every single day!
Then, diagnosed with nasty illness 23 months ago...
Aw thank you, that's really appreciated.
And I'm still here too! On train back from Bart's in London where I am on a trial and have to attend two days every two weeks. The second is quite nasty chemo but it's keeping me going. Not so good is that I will be doing this for the rest of my life...
I was never in Cowfold (was Horsham) and still in Seaford. Wedding is in Bristol unfortunately!
And as for not beating Stains but thrashing Citeh my heart won't take it, this time I'm convinced we'll do it the "easy" way
Ha, I know, bloody selfish. It's a Saturday wedding but as is becoming the norm it spills into Sunday with the whole brunch thing. I did suggest that I might not make it and it went down like a lead balloon.
I resigned myself to it this morning when Mother (ex wife) called saying daughter...
I looked immedately after I listed and not there so I suspect there is a lag, maybe they do some kind of manual verify?
Not medical for me (thank f**k!) but daughters wedding and going to struggle to get back in time. Gutted, I think I might miss the game where we seal our Europa league spot...

I thought that about the significance of 1 but (and does assume we beat Stains ofc) it leaves us only needing 1 from City or Villa to be guaranteed.
As it is I think Villa lose at Liverpool and Spuds lose at Leeds in which case a win anywhere is enough (likely Stains)
Liverpool will beat them.
We won't know until the very end but I'm thinking the result today is the one we wanted. Convinced we'll finish above both them and Tottenham.
Ah I get it now .... yes I'm still holding out some hope for 6th (straws rather than positivity!)
But yes, If I had written off 6th then a Tottenham win today would be perfect
I expected the Stains comment and of course, but if we don't beat them then the whole thing becomes academic imo.
If Tottenham get a point today and beat Brentford (as I'd expect) then we'd be relying on Leeds beating them on the last day. We might need that anyway but I see Tottenham as being...
Villa win for me (I think). I don't see them getting anything from Liverpool and assuming we can turn over Stains it would leave us needing a no worse than a draw last day to stay ahead of them.
I think Tottenham will see off Brentford which would put them on 60 if Villa win today. If they win...
