I saw Phil Neville a few weeks back on MOTD2 with Lee Dixon, and their intelligent, insightful thoughts about the game, made me realise how complete rubbish Shearer is at being a pundit.
I saw my first Albion game in 1972, and it seems to me that some sections of the crowd always need a player (one of ours!) to moan about. It seems to be catching and has not much to do with how he is playing. Sadly its Barnes' turn. Personally, I think he is a great player.
Love it. i have watched the Storer goal numerous times on You Tube (& emotional everytime) and shown to my daughters to explain what it means and what the Albion have been through.

During the warm up for the Ipswich game, my daughter and friends were asking the players for autographs in front on the WSL. Two boys said they liked Gonzalez's gloves, so he took them off, signed them and gave one each to the boys.
