I went to Varadero about 5 years ago and i have to say it was one of the nicest holidays we've been on. We stayed at the Sandals resort out there. It's a bit of a trek from the airport though (about two and a bit hours on a coach). We went on a day trip to Havana though and it was amazing to see...
