Thanks for the attempt! Loved the movie, the book and used to be fond of the subject matter way back when. But the music just doesn’t do it for me. Recently indulged in a 2 hours drive listening to the live 80’s Grateful Dead playlist on Spotify. Bliss for me, to each their own 😀.
Actually I thought we got more positive and aggressive in the 2nd half after a strong first half performance. Unfortunately that was our undoing.
Still think they were luckier than they had right to be.
Watching this I am just glad we do not have to play Liverpool again, they seem to have found another level, or another abyss of an opponent. Would love to take points off City, just to make the title race more fun as we finish above palace :smokin:
Great news, if true, about Welbeck, I thought he was very good vs Arsenal and hopefully stays fit. I prefer Maupay to Ings, both confidence players (like everyone) but Maupay brings the shithousery as a bonus. Fwiw.
Great thread. Worst thing about a bad book for me is that I force myself to finish them, can be a bit painful…

I am late to this thread and not as current with the conflict as I should be. Being older I tend to reject any good vs. evil explanation for any conflict outside of WWII. But I would like to wish all the people of Ukraine that they, their families and their love ones are safe. Maybe I am not...
So I saw this thread and thought I would use it to seek advice from the hive experience of NSC. My son (15) and I have a project in mind that part of me thinks is too likely to fail, but still would like to try. The idea is to buy an old car/SUV and retrofit with an electric engine. Quite a...
Oops sorry. Basically says how their flight to Saudi was on an airplane from a company seized by the crown prince. From the same company as the airplane used by the assassins who killed the dissident journalist in Turkey. Even for that kind of money I couldn't do that.
Having just returned from our very local greek restaurant where we had a nice bottle of an Axia shiraz blend, I have just opened a bottle of 2007 Sassiossa from my cellar of over-aged table wines. Happy Fridat!
