As a child in the 1950’s we had a ‘party’ line. Sometimes when you lifted the receiver you could hear the other person talking (the people that we shared the line with). I still remember the number, ’Viking 5152’.

I went HCGS for girls, left 1970,after A levels. I wonder how many of the boys from the grammar school, that I used to fancy, are on NSC, but I don’t know their alias 🤣

My current cheque book says it was issued 2002! Still loads of cheques left in it. The last two cheques written were for donations at funerals over the past five years.
