Taken the plunge here and getting rid of our petrol Sportage Donkey and going Hybrid with a Captur next Monday. Hoping we can get a bit more then 30-35 mpg !!
Currently holidaying in Palermo. That storm was quite something.
With what I’m reading about the suspicions now of what may have helped cause the sinking I’m not surprised
Sorry but i disagree. The flavour comes from the heat sauce and there is no way gas is anything close to real coals/fire. No fat in fish but when i cook over coals i get the BBQ taste. You wouldn't get that with a gas bbq.
Last time i asked the butcher to do it they charged about £20 which made about 8-10 burgers depending on size of patty. Trouble is a lot of butchers will refuse to mince marrow in as it can kill their mincer.
So nowadays I just buy the meat direct from the farmer up the road and mince it myself...
Not going to lie dropping my 4 year old to holiday club this morning was tough. Lots of anxious faces in parents and lots of reassurances from staff.
Cannot even begin to think what these poor families are going through.....
Easy
450g chuck
150g flank
150g brisket
100g short rib
100g aged beef fat
50g bone marrow
Chuck it all through a meat mincer or ask your butcher to do it. Best burgers ever
What charcoal are you using ? Makes a big difference taste wise. My wife used to moan that everything was tasting smokey until i switched to Green Olive premium and that burns really clean. Dont use cheap supermarket charcoal its made with all sorts. Your paying expensive money for meat dont...

Agree. Chips burn too hot and fast even if soaked . Chunks is the way to go and remember meat will only take on the smoke in the 1st few hours on a long cook. Dont be tempted to add more hours in.
I don't own the Ninja grill , just the 2 woodfire ovens and the many other bbq's.
Im a sucker for smash burgers . To fire up any bbq to put a plancha on it etc to make them can be a waste of coals for a 5 minute cook. With the griddle that would solve that issue. It would also be handy for...
It all started for me during lockdown. Dread to think how much I have spent on kit and accessories probably near 5k in all. But having suffered mental health issues its the 1 thing that gets my mojo back, cooking outside.
I know you mentioned above about not having a ceramic as you wouldn't...
Having owned one for 4 years i can say hands down its the best piece of kit i own. Not cheap but will last a lifetime with a lifetime warranty on the ceramics. So many cooking options on it not just bbq. Never thought i could cook curries etc on mine but with the amount of accessories for it you...
