I totally approve of it. It is instantaneous, factual, and infallible ( apart from one occasion which kept Villa up at the expense of Bmuff which is the sort of clear and obvious error which it would have been ok for VAR to intervene on...) For the most part, VAR is none of instantaneous...

The ref gave the yellow card ages after the incident. He didn't give it in real time. VAR presumably considered if it should be red and said not. VAR cannot suggest a yellow card. So why did the ref then choose to give a yellow ?? If they hadn't scored and play had been continuing he...

VAR sucks the joy out of the game. An acceptable VAR for me, which would meet the original ' clear and obvious' requirements would be.... 1. VAR officials can only watch the game in real speed, no slow motion or freeze frames. Then the game is being reffed at game speed , as it always was...

I'm confused.... When I check on train line it is showing plenty of trains between Brighton and falmer, but when I check on Southern it is showing no trains at all, just a message about very restricted services...

We can't obtain consistency for the past. We, generally, agree that refs should be protected from abuse. I'm ok with Dunk's red card so long as he is simply the first and this standard is applied consistently in the future......

You must be correct because that is what they did. But we are talking goal kicks here, and I seem to recall that NF did drop back for goal kicks. I could see hoofing it down the pitch if there are less than 5 minutes left but there were 25 minutes including the stoppage time. Oh well, this is...
