[Politics] Sir Keir Starmer’s route to Number 10

No i am saying that similar information may lead to not disimilar decisions. A few weeks ago everybody was saying israel had bombed a hospital which now is being said to have been a hamas SAM missile misfiring. Why were hamas firing a missile from a hospital car park in the 1st place etc. The...

[Politics] Sir Keir Starmer’s route to Number 10

The issue here is that Cleverly and Sunak have shared the intelligence of what is happening on they ground, they have with Lammy and Starmer. Therefore the end result is likely to be a similar position.

[Football] Behaviour at kids Sunday morning football

I used to ref (and indeed have done so a few times in last 2 years for u15s and u16s), coached for 10 years and now run the line for u15s. My son has recently started as a level 7 ref so can do up to county league (but is focussing at youth football for now). He is already a much better ref...

[Humour] Farage is a contestant on "I'm a celebrity ****, get me out of here".

This historically was one of the guilty pleasures in my household. I started watching last year but felt repulsed by Hancock on it. Im sure many who lost relatives during covid especially in care homes would have felt that way. In the end it gave me back an hour of my life each night and i got...

    [Albion] Our lord Pascal gross

He was also written off by Potter. Only came back into the squad after we had one win in 11. We then went on a long run of great results (albeit starting with a goalless draw with norwich) with one defeat against man city in the run in

[Albion] Brighton: Stand or fall. Release date??

My son had a high voice and hadnt started shaving when we filmed our bit. Now he's 6ft and drinking mojitos on the way to ajax

[Albion] "I think he's an Albion fan", Amsterdam/Ajax edition

Unless you like shoddy cider or canned wine, the 8.16 from st pancras to amsterdam appears to have run out of alcohol.

[Albion] "I think he's an Albion fan", Amsterdam/Ajax edition

8.16 from st pancras to amsterdam is reminiscent of the old seagull specials. All we needed was Stavros and we would be laughing. The cancelled 5.06 from brighton was a tad annoying having got to marseille and back with 6 changes and no delays.

[Albion] Albion adds over £600m to the local economy

The original estimates were based on 15k crowds in div 1/championship and sat 3pm matches (with c1100 averageaway fans). That in itself got laughed at. Also there are c20yrs worth of inflation to add to that. But yes the figures then look low by comparison but how bloody brilliant is that!

    [Albion] Fan advisory board

Lets understand why the FAB is there. As Barry has said, its because the PL have said they need one. And the PL wanted one to try and avoid an independent regulator. The kings speech today has now slated that for this parliament term. So whether there is still an FAB or PL requirement after...

[Football] "Embarrassing, it’s an absolute disgrace"

As I said in an earlier post. To get offsides right you either have a camera that moves with the last defender if we want to make it automated you need goaline tech on a huge scale. Theyre are 8 covering each goal for that so will need something like 40 (20 each side) then ai could be linked

    [Albion] Referees

This is why howard webb should focus on having someone with common sense to say things like We've neen hauled over the coals for wrongly giving a penalty against wolves and for generally stitching them up 6 times in 12 months, we better be bloody sure before we give this However more likely...

[Football] "Embarrassing, it’s an absolute disgrace"

The problem with absolute on or off only works of the cameras are on runners and track up and down the pitch like assistant refs used to do. Everything else is about triangulation on a pixelated photo.

[Football] "Embarrassing, it’s an absolute disgrace"

Agreed. Both the maguire offside and the newcastle goal would have been ruled out between lino and ref. Now the lino waits to see what var says. I also reckon assistant refs have got slower since var was introduced

    [Football] Fabrizio Romano

Romano has made a career by hanging on to the coat tails of people with more talent. This show seems to fit that model as Emma Jones has two outstanding talents as a presenter and journalist.

    [Albion] No Fulham red card

Dermot would see a decapitation and call it a yellow if his mate the ref of the game said so. So the fact he has gone harsher than the ref in the match is actually a major criticism :)

[Albion] West Stand Lower Catering/Ajax match

Signore Barbera's Pizza and and Morreti was great in east lower again yesterday (pricey at £15 for 10inch margerita and beer). The falafel was good too I think this is the last time for the vegan Broccoli, cauliflower and cheese which is a sad moment as I like them. They were hot, robust and...
