Yes, I saw GP and had an ultrasound about 8 weeks ago. Later, GP said it confirmed an inguinal hernia but not 'football-sized' or painful so no need for operation.
However, I got him to agree to do referral. Still waiting for an appointment with a consultant, I guess NHS waiting list is long.
