If that was fixed then surely Maidstone would have been drawn away to one of Liverpool/Man utd/Man city. Easy route to the quarter finals for one of the big boys while giving everyone the dream f.a cup match up of plucky postmen against a Goliath.
Who's in the home end with me?
Very much a bleurgh draw. Perfectly winnable but perfectly loseable.
Feel sorry for Maidstone getting either Weds or coventry away. What a shit draw for them.
He's looked a quality player from pre-season. He's getting better and better the more comfortable he's becoming with us and our style. I think there's another gear in him as well, so if he hits that then he'll be another 100m player in summer 25.
It's Alonso next up, ,surely?
Although the thought of Gerrard getting it is deliciously funny.
If RDZ gets us to sixth again and wins either the F.A cup or Europa league then I wouldn't begrudge him getting it either.
No , not in play. We were top after the second round of matches this season though. @Charles 'Charley' Charles posted the table in post 3 of this thread.
I was telling a Japanese friend about the joys of following the Albion earlier. Obviously I talked about following us up and down the 4 leagues but I also mentioned that I'd seen us spend at least a week in both 92nd in the league and 1st and probably every position in between.
Which got me...
I was wondering the same thing. I would guess they do as the same website claims we've sold 91m worth of homegrown players. (https://football-observatory.com/WeeklyPost446) .
Presumably they're working off of the UEFA definition of homegrown which is anyone who has spent 3 years with a club...
Is there any reason why academy produced player sales don't count?
It doesn't give a fair reflection of a clubs transfer policy if it's only players that have been bought and then sold. It's basically all expenditure on players but not all of the income from sales.
Draw was fair. We weren't bad just not particularly great. We really struggled in the final third against a very well organised Wolves defence. Probably that shouldn't be too surprising when we're missing Mitoma, March, Enciso, Adingra and Fati. That's a lot of creativity and game changers...
If they were genuinely abusive then the coaches 100% need to be reported.
I would also say I don't think a 14 year old should be reffing a U-13 match. I think the age is too similar and can lead to issues. There should be a decent gap age wise between a young ref learning his trade and the...
I think it's unlikely Potter would join Palace. Not because of the Brighton link but because his next job is key to his career. If he succeeds then his time at Chelsea will be seen as a blip with mitigating circumstances whereas if he fails his 'brand' will be severely tarnished and it's...
