Ideally looking for a simple pick 11 and only change after each round of group games/knock out fixtures version that is low maintenance for the people at work who have limited knowledge/interest in football to join in with.
No but you cannot argue that these companies don't target people with addictive personalities.

At my peak I had loads; Stability road shoes for long runs, Lightweight stability shoes for speedwork, v light flats for racing, track spikes, xc spikes, trail shoes for hard trails, and more aggressive trail shoes for muddy trails!
Have heard that rotating different shoes can help avoid injury...
All so they can squeeze more money out of the charities for their guaranteed places? Seems the only easy way to get in these days is to raise a truck load of money for charity! Not an event for casual or club runners.

Pretty much what I expected people to say - Don't have a list at the moment but can't imagine there is much good stuff left in there as I had a spate of trying to ebay some a few years ago and these are what's left!

Just renewed with Iresa, haven't had any problems but I did read something the other day about them having lots of complaints about people not being able to get hold of them.
Prices vary a lot depending on who organises it. Local club organised races can be as cheap as £10-15 but big commercially organised races (like the royal parks half) can be upwards of £40.
I tend to prefer the club organised stuff but can see why some people might be put off by the higher ratio...
