Sometimes you just have to stand back and admire the world-class football that the other team is playing.
At least, that's what I learned from our players today.
It's not directly comparable to the Oculus Rift, but I got the PlayStation VR headset just before Christmas and I haven't found any games that take really good advantage of it yet, so it still feels a bit "expensive novelty" to me. That said, I don't regret buying it at all: some of the novelty...
It was only when I recently read this history of Lemmings that I was reminded that it had a genius but overlooked two-player mode. Never has a game so nurtured my petty, vindictive and simply cruel side. You won by getting more Lemmings into your exit than your opponent's on a shared landscape...

I'm on the fence now. I've been strongly against it these last few weeks but belted out today by a nearly full ground it sounded great. Well done everyone.
Probably. When we've suffered an undeserved 4-0 loss to Chelsea I can cheer myself up by thinking back to the Wigan game and the promotion celebrations and reminding myself why we're here, and what promotion meant to us as fans, and it helps to put it in the perspective of the rollercoaster ride...
Clearly it wouldn't be the relegation side of the trade-off that we would be celebrating. Much as I love the Championship, that's not a moment to treasure. We'd be going mental at winning the cup.
I assume that all the people who have voted "stay up" will be charging onto the pitch to celebrate if we secure 17th place at the Amex against Man U, because it will mean so much to them.
Oh so very much this. Can't remember what spasm of curiosity or boredom led me to the "Chef's Specials" section of the Balti Express menu but the Naga was like discovering curry all over again. It's been my go-to curry choice ever since. As long as I know that I'll have ready access to toilet...
Thanks for the warning. Took me a fair bit of googling to find a more useful seating plan than this:
which just seems to show that the Riverside has a football pitch with some seats in four stands around it. Surprisingly it was premierleague.com that came up with the goods with this, which I...
Well done to the lads for keeping our hopes alive for one more game. Has any other team ever kept qualification / getting out of the group stage mathematically possible in so many tournaments for so long and failed so many times?
There's something wrong, though, in that we're not hoping for a...
Not intentionally, but I do block 3rd-party javascript (NoScript Firefox plugin) and that seems to be suppressing the ads. I try to remember to use the Amazon affiliate link but as NSC's affiliate fee probably doesn't make up for the tax they're dodging on my orders I don't shop there often...
Blimey, some teams really have had miserable seasons at this level. Reminds me not to get too carried away with our adequate start, as we're still in competition for a lot of those records ourselves.
