ha - missed an SB by one second! Started too fast. Lovely day in the Prom though. Off for two weeks holidays now and expect to return having lost marathon fitness so it will be time to start again.
On the positive side, it does always leave the option of having a sex change in order to achieve a GFA time. And let’s face it for most of us this is more feasible than achieving the men’s GFA targets.

Very happy with Budapest (Hungary) marathon today - finished in 3:57:45 officially which is only a minute or so down on my Brighton time this year- I had quite a few injuries/illness in the buildup so very happy with that...
So I experimented tonight - one shoe with ‘racing loops’, the other ‘standard’. To be honest it made so little difference I only remembered I’d done this when I took my shoes off again!
