For the sake of tradition, I will just add that he is crap, doesn't write well, his opinion pieces usually include a snide dig at supporters, and he performs his job at the most basic level.
They wanted him to sign a new contract, if he had, they would have loaned him out, he didn't, so they cashed in rather than let him run out of contract.
Edit, he was already out of contract.
I believe we would need to get permission from the FA to play him again so soon after a concussion substitution, 12 days is the minimum, 7 with permission and having followed an enhanced protocol for monitoring and recovery.
They will be if they ignore any illegality found in the review they say is currently in process.
The question for me is will the review be completed before there is an end to the fighting, and will they still implement a ban if it finds Israel to not be compliant but the fighting is over...
The club is not the only source of fact.
If Naylor has any sources outside the club, he either doesn't trust them, or is frightened of upsetting his club sources by making stuff public that the club wants kept quiet.
If the club wants stuff kept quiet till its done, then I am glad he isn't...
The new PSR will mean that players wages and transfer fees can't be more than 70% of revenue if competing in Europe, and 80% of revenue for the rest of the PL.
I think players will move, but for small transfer fees and big signing on bonuses.

become a Christian, let's go see the Rabbi.
They go to the Rabbi and tell him...
He is in the rehabilitation process and progressing, on the grass and kicking a ball, but not training with the squad yet. It's a guess as to when we will see him playing, but I don't expect to see him on the pitch till at least November, but more likely beyond that.
My reckoning is that they are looking to secure his replacement before letting him go. They will find it harder to do so once he has left for a record fee.
Edit, by harder, I mean harder to buy at a good fee.
He wanted to go on loan from Arsenal, but they were refusing to arrange one for him unless he signed a new contract
He wasn't asking to be put in the first team, but he wanted more than academy football, if he didn't go on loan or change clubs, he would have been playing academy football for...

Well, you didn't put the free in your post, and it appeared to me, reading down the thread, that it was the kid with the brand new Leeds shirt with our players name on the back you wanted to get trending. Apologies.
