If Naylor is sewing the seeds, even with a big "it might not happen" caveat, then fair to say it will happen unless Potter turns us down.
For f*** sake Brighton & Hove f***ing Albion
Transfer windows for me.
We plainly needed reinforcements to compete in any competition, didn't get them, then lost our best 'plan B' player (Hinshelwood), our best attacker (Mitoma), our goalscorer (Pedro) and had to wait ages for Enciso to get fit (even then I'm not sure he truly ever was)...
What about PL ready younger players? Liverpool picked up some 24 year old Argentinian with over 100 PL appearances for £35m ladt summer.
Obviously that's not a serious example. But with a squad slightly lacking in the early to mid 20s with PL experience we are slightly short, I think.
I guess...
Heavily backed = given a free transfer and a young kid to replace a £140odd million centre midfield pairing going into our first campaign in Europe, with a squad not topped up in January despite a crippling injury crisis.
Let's be clear here, the board are as culpable for the second half of...
I am not quite sure why there is such anti online about this, other than the fact that we had a guy who could have been the next Klopp, and now we're looking at Steve Cooper. It's not exciting at all.
But it makes a lot of sense. Highly rated, loved by Forest fans, came through the England...
I think he's been a good signing in an era where the top teams have decided flooding the decence with centre backs in all positions. I wouldn't want to let him go unless we have another left footed centre back lined up.
It is a sad state of affairs that the Argus and Naylor appear to be gagged from saying absolutely anything.
A flick of the Argus Sport pages and you wouldn't even know the Albion are trying to recruit a manager ffs.
What a spectacularly shit couple of weeks as an Albion fan after a few years riding a wave of success , peaking in Europe. Now even Dennis Undav doesn't want to play for us.
Bloom and Barber really need to pull off an masterstroke appointment and back it up with a great transfer window...
I guess one positive of all this is the good laugh we'll get when we get beat by someone, probably Palace, and Graham uses the 'learn and take the positives' line for the first time in a couple of years.
