I know that, but i think it's an added bonus. After all, Elvis Manu had European experience too. What i mean is the weighting of it isn't as high now. Last year it would have been a much more important attribute for the recruitment team.
Well it's not is it. If he isn't developing the way we hoped and we can make a big profit why not, as long as it's on our terms. That's our model. It's very rare that young players turn into superstars that go to the big boys. We've just managed an extremely good run of it with Bissouma, White...
It is probably worth considering, when judging last summers business, that we also signed players with European experience which isn't something the algorithm has had to work with before.
At least we don't have that problem this summer.
Personally, i think any more ins will be defensive...
Look at the photo above. That is a very different 'footprint' in the North East corner and a lot narrower than it was in May. Maybe it's camera trickery in which case i apologise. I don't think so though.
So with the first home game less than 4 weeks away (ignoring the friendly which will be mostly empty seats) it's hard to see the building site not causing a logistical headache. What a mess.
Slightly baffled as to the popularity of this one, shows how desperate people are for an Albion fix.
Loftus Road is shit. Friendlies are shit. Just go and have a day on the piss instead I'd have said. But no, we're taking over 2000. Impressive effort.
Andy Naylor reckons he'll go for £12 million, presumably briefed by the club.
Just reaffirms the theory that us fans might think we know a lot, but in reality, f*** all
The daily highlights video from yesterday is nuts. 10 mins of Webster having gone down the shop and got in a load of sweets for the boys....(and Barber) genius. The England youtube stuff is the benchmark but this is good stuff.
Charlie Oatway looks like a visionary with his 2004 diary
Good luck. Sounds an awful experience to leave you traumatised but well done on feeling like giving it a go again.
I can't do Paris recommendations but I would say that Eurostar feels very similar to a long distance train journey in the UK if that helps normalise the situation at all.
Good luck
