Unfortunately the one thing Guehi has that Dunk doesn’t is pace. Although that was somewhat negated by how low we played under Gareth.

I think that’s more Pickford than Southgate. Pickford seems to like to be centre of attention rather then playing the simple pass and building up. Like nearly every top team does; Everton do and are neither of those.

What’s struck me is we’ve gone from parting company with the previous manager reportedly because of a lack of transfers, to splashing the cash. Theres just a part of me that feels the club wanted him to move on. To be honest I was happy enough with that.
