A rare visit to the Brighton Centre tomorrow to see Bicep. They were a magnificent ending to Glastonbury weekend, and I am looking forward to seeing them again. One of the few acts that suit the Centre.

The Greys and The Geese are still great pubs. I particularly like The Greys- still has music, and very good beers.

That’s a shame. It was just about the only acceptable pub when we lived in Ovingdean.

Amusingly I met up with @Hamilton before a gig on Tuesday - he insisted on The Hop Poles because “They definitely won’t have a telly.” There was a massive screen at each end of the pub.

Not true, as so many pubs now have covered and heated outside areas. An excellent example of this is the aforementioned Hare and Hounds where hardly anyone sits inside.

Poncified itself!? No, it’s become a warm and welcoming environment with some excellent beers. Perhaps I am a ponce.

Ha! Indeed, life in us old groomers yet. ‘Cut’ would have been the obvious set ender, I think. Definitely want to see more of them.
