    [Drinking] It's Thursdat

Yeah, go for it. I will get home about 5.15pm and try to neck 4 pints before catching the coach at 6.15pm. Will hopefully get another couple in the ground.

    [Albion] Injury list in full

I do hope not, can't see him being back on Boxing day if he has. They have a busy time into the run up to Christmas, I would have thought he would need a week off to recover at least, and then will need to train with the team again. Maybe we should be hoping for mid January. Takes the piss...

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

That is interesting. I guess the help goes via Iran and the Israelis will have been aware of this for a long time. I imagine Israel may be more willing to use some underhand tactics than other Western Governments. It's going to take some years to unwind but I hope Russia gets what it deserves...

    [Albion] Jakub Moder

I didn't realise we had that many fixtures in December, even half of that number would mean about 1500 games a day. Don't think I will be able to fit that many in, have used up most of my holiday

[Albion] The Marseille Mozzie bite thread

Good stuff. I had shit loads of bites that sound Mozzie like. Loads flying around the Air BnB, gave up trying to kill them all.

[Football] How much did the Marseille cost you ? / Athens trip tips.

Marseille was about £600 for me, that's travel, stay for 2 nights, beer and food. Beer was probably a bit less than expected as on the day of the match I was drinking tinnies from Aldi in the square outside Burger King.

[Albion] Would you take 7th place, if offered now?

No way would I accept that. This season we will come 3rd.

[Brighton] Best place for a cheapish lunch in Brighton?

'Spoons is a relatively low price and you sometimes see some interesting entertainment depending on which clients are visiting on any particular day.

[Albion] The Marseille Mozzie bite thread

I drank enough to fill a couple of Roman baths. Still got bitten, doesn't normally happen to me (or it does and I don't get the marks). Executing a few mosquitoes made me feel better momentarily but now I am worried it may have been bed bugs all along. Did the mozzies deserve a fair trial and...

[Albion] The Marseille Mozzie bite thread

Yes, I have loads up my legs. Gave up killing them in the Air BnB, as soon as you got rid of one another appeared.

    [Football] Pompey

Some of their fans are very rude indeed. I was on a Seagulls travel coach on the way to Villa that overtook a Pompey coach. Rather than waving in friendly camaraderie, a number of their young men made hand gestures that were most unpleasant. I was very shocked 😲 and had to drink several pints on...

[Albion] Anyone feeling a bit flat about tomorrow after the Marseille game?

Still on a bit of a high after Marseille. Daft as it may sound, I feel like a bit of a returning adventurer and it will be nice sitting amongst the usual STHs back in my regular seat. I have been to a number of England away games over the years, but didn't realise how different it would feel...
