Totally agree. But they are absolutely gash.

I do feel a bit like this. Like Leos strike has papered over the cracks that actually, we’ve been a bit ordinary as well?

Hard to remember a less ambitious opponent at the amex. But we still can’t score.

With a young keeper, you get that. Plenty of credit in the bank. But the rest of them? Terrible.

Quite honestly, this. Utterly anonymous. Waste of a player, may as well have had 10.

    [Albion] Lee Mason

I don’t disagree it’s a legit goal. I’m just more worried about the level of our performance than Mason’s.

    [Albion] Lee Mason

He’s really not the reason why we’re losing at half time

    [Albion] Dan Burn

That’s true. As well as Burn played (and he did) we really do miss March. And that is huge credit to Solly and Potter - 12 months ago I never thought I would say that March was so important. Hugely improved.

    [Football] Joel Veltman

True, but he won’t have been watching will he. Dunk has been imperious this week - calm and intelligent with his use of the ball. Some of his passing is exquisite. Mings shanks more balls than me on the golf course!

    [Football] Joel Veltman

Utterly extraordinary isn’t it? That we have 4 centre backs who are better than a current England international, whose only objective seems to be to find touch.

    [Albion] Positives from Tonight

Another for me is that I’ve seen two games this week where Dunk has utterly owned two top Premier League strikers - Vardy and Watkins - without breaking a sweat. He’s such a class act and we are extremely lucky to have him.

    [Football] Joel Veltman

What a great problem to have. Veltman, Dunk and Webster back 3, Lamptey RWB and White into the midfield next to Biss? I think Veltman is too good to leave out - so much know-how.

    [Albion] Coping with Grealish’s diving

He was brilliant - Grealish clearly remembered the clash at Villa Park and was more interested in putting Veltman in his place. It didn’t happen - Veltman owned him.

    [Albion] Emiliano Martinez

Heaton for Burnley two years ago? But if McAllister buries the header? The rest we gave him a chance with.

    [Football] Joel Veltman

I don’t think you will see a better performance to nullify Grealish all season. Top class, was in his head from minute 1.

    [Football] UEFA Euro 2020

Not sure it matters - I went for 8 games in high categories and even ticked the option to be moved up to the next category if that's all that was available. Didn't get any.

Can nit pick all you like - superb sport, incredible drama. With that and the tennis, what a day!

    [Music] Greatest female vocalists?

Just had the privilege of watching Chrissie Hydne at Pizza Express Holborn, a 180 seat venue. Such incredible depth and control to her voice, singing well within herself. Amazing and versatile. Gets my vote.

[Albion] The Worst Ever Food You’ve Eaten At The Amex

Another idiot who promises myself every game not to buy a burger from the kiosks in the WSU, and every time I do. I can’t help it, it’s like a reflex. They are always gross. Get very envious when I visit the other parts of the ground for cup games - the ESU with its magnificent sausage rolls...
