You seem very authoritative on this subject, however I was actually at that match and the boos were from a small fraction of the crowd and lasted about 5 seconds...
I genuinely can't think of a single country which can be considered to have benefited from British occupation, and I'm happy to be challenged on that. One of my beloved grandads was in the army helping to destroy the Turkish Empire during WW1 in Iraq and Palestine and look at the mess that...
"The timing however is extremely poor form, unprofessional, disrespectful and most disruptive". I 100% agree; a lot of people on here are falling over themselves to seem mature and reasonable about Potter unceremoniously dumping us, but supporting a football club is about passion and blind...
You can't blame Chelsea, but though I'm trying hard to be sensible I can't help but feel seriously pissed-off with Potter and Bruno, bailing-out just as we were making progress in this sh*tfest Premier League.
Totally agree (though I think genius is pushing it a bit). Football is a ruthless business but I naively thought that G.Pott had greater integrity than to dump the club, his squad and the fans just as we were getting somewhere. The Chelsea franchise has regularly chewed-up and spat out far...

If I were G.Pott I would be loving life now:
- working at a great club with great facilities
- with a great chairman
- the focus being on developing players (which is obviously his speciality)
- come contract renewal he'll be getting a hefty pay-rise
- wife and kids settled in a great house...
Well congratulations...it's apathy like that which allows old Etonian buffoons (e.g. Cameron, Johnson and Rees-Mogg) to run the country badly for a while before they fall back on their trust funds and a bunch of well paid non-exec directorships...
Well yes, but also a proportionate level of income tax for those who can afford to pay more, and tax regime that doesn't allow people like the Sunaks to offshore their tax status whilst enjoying all the benfits of UK life, and corporations paying a fair level of tax instead of paying outrageous...
So based on this poll we can expect a gate of around 24,000... A lot of you saying you'll skip this one need to find a way; leave early and expect to get home late.
