I thought we had just agreed a future transfer rather than signed and loaned back. Even if he joined officially in the summer of 2017 he'll still be short of the 3 years at a club before his 21st birthday to qualify as home grown. Again, that's only how I understand it.
I don't think so, pretty sure its 3 years at a club before their 21st birthday. He joined 1st Jan 2018 and he turns 21 in June meaning he's only have been here 18 months. Happy to be corrected on this if someone has looked into it?
I don't understand those that aren't exited by this. He's a 6'2, quick, young English striker that has scored goals across all the England age groups, and Southgate thought highly enough of him to give him a full cap a while back. He also has been thought well enough of to be retained by...
Would like to see Knocky have a go behind Murray instead of March, works just as hard and has more quality. Understand not changing a winning team though.
Everton team looks strong, would be delighted with a point but hopefully we can get a 4th win on the bounce! :albion2:
I'd be happy giving that a go. Knockaert has played there only once maybe twice in the past but think it's a position that would suit him, plus he has the work rate to cover the ground that Gross does. Also just want to see AJ in his best position for 90 minutes.
I think we'll play this away from home with Andone up top for his pace instead of Murray. Ali for Knockaert depending on how he settles in.
Gross in for Bissouma for home games.
Edit- Andone might not be fit/ready
I think he would be our first choice right back, but Liverpool would probably want him playing CB which I agree would be hard to guarantee game time. I doubt he'll be available anyway tbh but would be more than happy to get him for a year.
If a good player becomes available near the end of the window, we're in a great position to move quickly and get them due to our early work. Possible positions are obviously cb but direct competition for gross a possibility along with right back? Given how much we've spent already we could see a...
They've done exceptionally well with only a cb needed, such good work.
All these early deals also means that if anything comes up in the last week of the window, we'll be in position to move very quickly whereas it looks like a lot of teams will still be looking to strengthen key areas...
Posted this on another thread.
Goalkeeper- Stay the same if new deals are agreed, Walton back out on loan. Replacement for 2nd/3rd choice if required.
Centre Back- Replacement for BFG, rest to stay the same. I want Goldson to play more games and get a good loan but replacing 2 CB's is too...

Finch chases (and snicks) a wide one a minute before lunch off some of the slowest medium pace bowling you're likely to see. Awful cricket, 50 odd for 3.
Unfortunately neither does Briggs! Excellent one-day bowler though. Hopefully this season he kicks on in the 4 day stuff.
Hoping for a stream like last weeks game!
