Oh yes, so two Pakistani players got two centuries in the match.
Unwanted stat, I reckon. Not sure there has been a match that I know of where six bowlers concede over 100 runs in the same innings
I can confidently say never in Test (where a team has lost by an innings). I think it's happened domestically recently. My brain is saying Glamorgan got a huge score and somehow lost by an innings. Adelaide was a disaster waiting to happen. Just knew we would capitulate.
My brain instantly said '1984/85 in India, you remember listening to the commentary before you went to school' I'm so pleased with myself
England won that series. Gatting looked like he had turned the corner.
Remember it well. I was at school but my mate went. Apparently there was a bit of 'bovver' straight afterwards. Albion had started the season pretty well but were poor that night. The match was the start of a long run of winless matches until the December that ultimately cost them promotion...

But it's the most friendliest pitch imaginable and, I hope to be wrong, I'm not convinced that there will be enough in it to cause them trouble.
But it's Pakistan. And they...
I think the 1950s was the last time there was a government which didn't have a majority of folk that voted against it (although the coalition of 2010 was more than 50%)
Not as bad as America where Clinton won the presidential vote and Trump got the gig.
I remember when the summer floods happened in 2007. A preacher claimed it was wrath against same sex marriage. Only on the weekend I was sitting outside a gay bar in Brighton on a warm summer afternoon with a couple of friends whilst folk were rowing down streets in the north. The judgement...
BG was right about his conversion rate at that time, but his belief he wasn't worth his place in the team was a little questionable given that he was averaging over 50.
Only NSC can go from discussing the merits of VAR to a full on barney about haemorrhoids in a couple of posts.
I suppose in this case it could be called a 'pile on'.....
