Bought Mindbomb as a 16 yo on vinyl and haven't listened to it since I got rid of my vinyl, urghh, in the 2000s. Might have a relisten again to see if I had great taste at 16...
It's obvious from the past that swansman was bullied and therefore he's a bit sensitive to it and that's... fair enough, actually, and good for him too. I've joined in the pile-ons on Sanchez before because having been around him briefly in person i found him an utter bellend. I also love the...
Really liked him with his one-expression-fits-all comedy face and when he was plucking balls out of the air at Liverpool.... but he's lost his confidence after too many mistakes and he doesn't look like he'll get it back. We sold at the right time and got bloody brilliant money for him.

Alien: Romulus
Saw Aliens on VHS when home alone after pulling a sickie at school in '87 and it made a big impression. Been a fan of the series ever since (1-3 I've probably watched once a year) so I am knowingly suckered in to going to the cinema to watch the latest.
This one had seemingly...
Mentioned in the Jewish Chronicle. Absolutely nothing to wet the bed about other than an unnecessary reaction from the rest of the audience.

Unless you were at the show re context/what was actually said you're just going a bit Daily Mail there. Comedians push boundaries and often cross them. Only a fool would walk into a Reginald D Hunter gig and expect anything else (close to the boundary), if you 're that sensitive stick to Macintyre.
Saw him many moons ago in a club under the arches (might have been Coalition). Two older peeps in the small crowd walked out after heckling him as not funny and were hounded by him on the way out. Afterwards, he explained how the joke they didn't like wasn't actually saying what they thought it...
Bloom is obviously v. v astute and has turned the Albion into an elite club, awash with millions and millions of pounds. Amazing really. I do have a slight problem that.... I don't really like the elite. And I do feel a bit divorced from it all nowadays. My bad.
Not read all the pages but the quote in the op is both not untrue and a tad pathetic, imo.
I really find NSC valuable to my general wellbeing and therefore I'm rather grateful to Bozza and all the mods. Thank you.
I certainly don't want a polished PL turd/site. I want a fanzine full of fact...
lol this was my very first thought. At age 10, swapping stickers at school, i fell in love with the mullet and went full kit Ipswich wanker for a couple of years before discovering my local team.
This is what is wrong with the world imo. I'm over 50 now and I still remind myself of the truths of the adage "to be happy want what you have, not have what you want " yet i don't see that at all in many people younger than me.
We seem to have got to a stage now where Trump and Musk are too unbelievable if they were cast as fictional Bond villains, yet here they are existing in reality in positions of huge power. I find this utterly bizarre.
Personally, I couldn't give a shite about the overall medals table - my interest is only in the individual events and the efforts and joy of those athletes. The medal table is boring willy waving for egocentric countries like USA, China and the Aussies. Sport is about glory not a fecking table.
