Yes. Russia has certainly been trying to grab more land in the past few weeks, making constant attacks across the whole front line in Ukraine.
They haven't gained as much as Ukraine has in Kursk, but their intention prior to the election has been clear.
It depends how he ends the Russian - Ukraine war. If he pulls all military and humanitarian support from Ukraine, and stops Russian sanctions, and if Europe doesn't step up to the void, vand if Ukraine is then forced to give up all currently occupied land... do you think Russia will stop there? I...
He may end the Ukraine war temporarily (actually I can't even see that!) but he'll cause more wars a few years down the road - I guess he won't care then.
You explain that well - I don't like the result but I understand it.
It remains to be seen whether the folk who voted for him get much of what he's promised: lower food price inflation, more local jobs, prices of tariffed imported goods, safety... Time will tell.
Yes, far easier for the west to pretend it's not happening at the moment.
Will be embarrassing for SK (join the club)if they don't back up their words with some concrete action.
Sure, I think he will.
Then Russia will re-arm and invade Georgia, Moldova, Baltics (as @A1X has suggested)...and thousands more will die.
The Ukrainian men in occupied areas will be conscripted into the Russian army at gunpoint - it won't stop, Trump is a Putin puppet.
The only crumb I can add is that this should be the catalyst for Europe (including UK) to be strong together, militarily and economically. Because, if Russia takes Ukraine and then lines up on the borders with Poland or the Baltics... I could see Trump undermining NATO resistance.
