The politics of envy? Do you complain when corporate bosses get £ millions in bonuses and additional shares, or is it only when the 'proles' get decent pay or a bonus that you start off a thread to moan.
Why not switch careers and work for AWC?
Saw Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark last night, in Bristol. Have always liked them, but this was the first OMD gig I've been to. They absolutely rocked, and the new album is brilliant. The support band, Walt Disco, were also fantastic.
Problem is, though, that:
a) If Trump gets re-elected, he'll claim that it was in spite of the 'deep state conspiracy' against him - "Look how strong I am. They couldn't stop me." Then the revenge and reprisals against his political opponents and critics will begin - a new era of McCarthyism...
Agree - we previously loved wholemeal hot-cross buns which Waitrose sold all year round. But now they've stopped selling them altogether. You can buy extra fruit HCBs, chocolate HCBs, cinnamon HCBs, apple HCBs, etc, but not good old wholemeal HCBs.
So we don't eat them anymore
Spot-on
Angry, permanently-offended, older white men who proudly attended the school of hard-knocks followed by the university of life, and think that anyone who calmly challenges their racism, sexism, misogyny or homophobia is brutally silencing and oppressing them.

My Daily Mail-reading sister-in-law was trotting-out this 'cancel culture' bollox last week, as she is reading Douglas Murray's 'The War Against The West' about the alleged Woke attack on liberalism and free-speech in Europe and the United States. I had to explain to her that Murray is a...
The Psychomodo remains one of my all-time favourite albums, and this one of my all-time favourite songs - but Come Up and See Me (Make Me Smile) is one of the best 'singles' ever.
I’m confused:
Tories - “We are opposed to Cancel Culture and insist that free-speech is sacrosanct. Instead of being easily offended snowflakes, people need to become more tolerant and resilient.”
Tories - “We consider many views that we disagree with, and those who hold such views, to be...
As I have said before, I am surprised that so many big clubs are reported to be interested in him, because he has not won anything yet in terms of trophies or titles. As such, for someone like Barcelona, Liverpool or Man Utd to appoint him would risk a repeat of the Potter to Chelsea debacle...
Sadly, I can't see it myself.
With key players (especially Mitoma and March) out for the rest of the season, long-term absentees returning but seemingly not 100% fit (Enciso), Ferguson having a fallow patch (loss of confidence, too much pressure due to high expectations?), our remaining...
I still don't think he's achieved enough yet to be appointed by the likes of Liverpool, Man Utd or Barcelona - no titles or trophies yet.
For one of the 'big' clubs to appoint him this summer would be a helluva gamble. There are high-profile managers out there on the international managerial...
