Oooh, I didn't know this. Chilli Pickle's original incarnation was streets ahead of what it became on Jubilee Street. I really hope it gets back to how it was.
I can't profess to have watched any England U21, but just looking at the squad he had to work with... that's a strong set of players at that level and no mistake (the U21 EURO winning team & squad):
England: 1 James Trafford (Manchester City), 2 Max Aarons (Norwich City), 4 Levi Colwill...
He only played 614 minutes, yet scored 5 goals and got 2 assists. I wish all our strikers were that pony!
Good player & great finisher - shame it didn't work out with us, but a tidy profit nonetheless.
EDIT: And when you say "To be fair" aren't you then supposed to be, y'know... fair?
It's a massive cliche to use a gambling analogy BUT....
It's like the different stakes tables in a casino. Some gamblers walk in and plonk themselves at the high-rollers' table. Some of them have deep enough pockets to ride out a few losing hands, others crash and burn very quickly.
Shrewd...
Maybe I'm being whooshed by an in-joke on the foxes forum, but he won't even be their first Argentine signed from Brighton!
(i haven't read the whole thread yet, so apols if someone has already pointed this out!)
I'm lucky enough to live under the flightpath of a couple of the Spitfire experiences that fly from Biggin Hill - the Beachy Head route and a "Coastal Patrol" experience.
A magnificent sight (and sound)

I remember being very close to switching off and doing something else when those two started to build... I watched pretty much every ball in the end.
A hugely talented player. RIP.
I may be wrong, but I thought 'simulation' (i.e. diving) isn't just going down without contact. Does it not also include exaggerating contact to deceive the ref? (and therefore technically a booking - it's a tough judgment call for a ref to make as they can't book everyone they think went down...
I posted this on the 'Good news' thread, but thought I should post it here on its own thread too...

Not just good news in its own right, but also symbolic. An allegory that conveys a sense that all is not lost, because unexpected recovery is possible.
Keep the faith!
Until now, I hadn't seen more than just the headline on this.
I kind of wish I hadn't read the reports now - I have a dance-mad 3yr old daughter and have tears streaming down my face.
She's out visiting her great grandparents today, but will be getting the biggest hug when she's home.

It's going to take a while for it all to gel isn't it?
When you consider Dunk's comments about De Zerbi's first few weeks:
“If I am being honest, the first couple of weeks were horrendous … I wouldn’t say horrendous, they were baffling. Training changed dramatically, we worked on a lot of...
