Possibly - but then it wouldn’t be enough to start housing shopping elsewhere or even be remotely convinced you’d end up in the job. Can’t imagine anyone is taking much stock on that from a new owner.
It’s just a bit nonsense though - there is no world where Chelsea, or Potter, allowed Tuchel to have the first month of the season before pulling the trigger. Potter would have wanted pre-season to start to put his ideas in motion instead of being chucked in just after the transfer window...
I’m torn. I actually want him to do well. He was good for us and it would be nice to see young English managers get the bigger jobs. If he has a catastrophic run it might put people off in the future.
He is inevitably going to get sacked before things turn round though. Simply won’t be afforded...
His complete collapse as a player is so strange. Had everything for us and thought he’d just plug straight in at Chelsea. Even more so when Potter went there.
He’s obviously off. Pretty clear after he didn’t sign a new deal in the summer. Don’t blame him - at 28 last chance of a big money move. Expect his performances will raise again in April and off he goes in the summer (we won’t sell him in January).
That’s true for any random attack though. Much easier to convict when you’ve got a victim picking someone out as the offender and you’ve got evidence in the inside of that persons car in the way of hammer marks she said she left.
Without any DNA / witness evidence it wouldn’t have made any...
It stopped being the case more than 24 months ago for a chunk of public sector workers. Years and years of austerity and capped wage rises below inflation (and well below inflation on occasions) has taken its toll. Unsurprisingly the latest cost of living has exacerbated the problem but this...
This. You can just see as a player he’s the sort of manager you’d want to give everything for. Not only is he so passionate and infectious you can see the high standards he has too.
Not sure you can say the same with Potter.
You can make a lot more on 100k. Short career. Most people in the same position will make as much in it as they can - particularly when you have no real affiliation with your employer.
