We really do. Lamptey is broken. Veltmen is more of a utility player than an out and out right back and Milner is 38. An attacking right back is a huge hole in our squad - particularly when you look at how our left side operate with Pervis. Using auxiliary full backs isn’t helpful.

Pretty normal for most sides to have a ‘cup’ keeper now. We’ve been doing it for years. we’ll see - but Steele will be out of the side by the first friendly IMO. Steele has been a useful stop gap. Bart hasn’t come here from playing regular football to sit on our bench.

We’re not spending 20m for a keeper of the future. We already have that in someone like Rushworth (although he’s older than Bart). Can’t see any way that Bart won’t be first choice starting the season.

Moises might be the best player we ever have play for us. Potential to be a generational talent. Alexis is very, very good but he’s not the level Moises is. Losing them both in the same summer would be pretty catastrophic for us

There is no world he is 40m. More experience at a higher level and younger than Ben White - as well as being left footed and a better ball player. Chelsea also have no interest in selling.

Colwill is probably a 60m player so looks like that would be about right. He’s worth more than Ben White was when we sold him for 50m
