So many to pick from of course, but for me.......
1. Adringa (underestimated, had a better loan season than Mitoma at USG)
2. Joao Pedro (considering what RDZ has done to Mitoma and March, could be incredible for us)
3. Ferguson (a whole season of this fella now!)
Honerable mentions...
Its mad that at the top of most peoples list is a backup LB for Pervis and yet despite the numerous transfer rumours we have't been linked with any LBs (as far as I've seen - at least not strongly). Maybe RDZ/Brighton are backing Karbownik?? Surely our midfield "can do a job there" players...
I'm half tempted to agree. But regardless there are a few factors driving his value up. Firstly he's young and homegrown, he has proven he's more than capable at PL level (a feat in itself) but also has a lot of future potential - this is rare and potent mix. Secondly he's already done it for us...
Has there ever been a better GOS selection for Albion? People get caught up in the Encisio goals but I think Undavs could also have won PL GOS, more Albion goals should have been in the PL selection.
Welbeck, Minotma and Marchs Liverpols goals too are incredible, technique from our current crop...
Actually looking at Joao Pedro again I think you are probably right alothough it seems both him and Adringa are much more capable of playing either sides.
Be interesting to see if De Zerbi rates Adringa enough to go with him this season. I suspect they are putting Kudus signing on ice until...
IMO successful players/great players are different from “club legends”, he’s close but wasn’t here long enough to qualify as what I deem to be a ‘club legend’. Another season and maybe. Having said that, if we fall off a cliff and never return to the highs of last season, I think time will give...
Makes me realise what a headache De Zerbi is going to have. Also makes me more convinced that Ayari will be loaned out. We’ve got so many options in those central positions
Don't see JPVH as Colwill replacement, we need 4x centre backs for the coming season, JPVH give us 3. Not saying Colwill is still on the cards, just that I sincerely hope we still have another CB incoming.
Couldn’t see this already posted, apologies if fixtures.
A few things I took away from watching this….
- The bitterness of Potters departure clouded my memory of how great we were playing under him this season. We were more direct and clinical than before. De Zerbi is obviously a massive...
