One thing I've noticed recently, not necessarily in Brighton and Hove, is that replacement benches are coming with individual seats as it were, with arm rests between. Stops anyone lying down on them. It was in London, and actually in Boris' constituency, so would back up the point The Clamp was...
I think that's a separate issue. I put in roughly the same for home games, maybe 10 less, but it's never crossed my mind that I should get something for coming to the Amex from far(ish) away that gives me priority for away games. I made the choice to live here. I've been lucky enough over the...
I'm just being playful. As I've said before, I think the system is as fair as it's possible to be. If you've put in the hard miles, you'll get a ticket. Bournemouth was a situation entirely of the clubs making. I'm sure you'll be able to pick up tickets for the less glamorous games. Hope so anyway.
Exactly this. The club have got titsy because of points harvesting, not because of people missing out. The were quite happy to trouser the £30k as long as no one complained. Now they have as a consequence of that laissez faire attitude, they're having to deal with this nonsense.
Perhaps we should've charged £30 initially, and then had a few club employees inside the turnstiles handing back crisp £20 notes to the good guys who turned up.
It's totally fair enough.
It's also fair enough to suggest that the club and or Nike have dropped the ball massively not having home kit available for about 8 weeks. There will always be people who buy cheap knock offs, but I bet a not insignificant number of people have bought moody goods...
Sadly that's bollocks. As has been said in the past, if the club can't be arsed to do it for the home cup games, they sure as hell won't bother with the aways.
