It's over so quickly I'm surprised there is time to do any reaction at all. If you don't like it you can close your eyes for two seconds and then it's gone. And if you do like it you'll be cheering the start of play three seconds after it starts.
It really is the most perfunctory of gestures...
When it's possible again: being in big crowds, standing up in pubs, the removal of the laws mandating face coverings - the things that are not in prospect yet, but maybe will be later this year.
Objectively we are doing what we need to survive - and we've never departed far in either direction from the line of assured safety.
Who, next year, would like to see something different? The problem is we don't know which way it will go from the line.
I keep thinking we're really spark sparking as a team and demolish a couple of other teams with 4 or 5 goals. I keep thinking it will happen, on a day when our luck turns and those nearly-goals are actually goals.
But now I'm thinking it might never happen.
Glad someone else agrees with me about Rhodos. Wakehurst is alright, but when I go there I always walk on the footpaths around the place, too.
Newcastle are doing a little better than expected - looks like the end of season is going to be fairly dull for all the TV companies. I just hope -...
Like a lot of others on the thread we are expecting to do a 3/2 or a 2/3 week from around the 21st of June.
I've been commuting occasionally to London this year so far when I needed to be (pretty much the only person) in the office and thoroughly enjoyed the empty trains on the way there. I...
We had three votes where I was:
* PCC
* West Sussex Council
* Referendum on the local plan
Which I think is the most number of things I've had the chance to vote on at once. The polling station was moderately busy at lunchtime.
It's more to do with expected placing. West Brom clearly are not established in the Premier League, no matter the number of top flight seasons they've had.
Coventry had 34 seasons in the top flight, but regularly were on the verge of going down - were they ever considered "established" in the...
I used to buy some random crypto every month - only a small amount, just to not completely ignore it. But the last two months I've not been able to bring myself to buy any as almost everything has gone up so much.
I'm guessing while there are people like me, waiting for it to fall in value...
I'm happy to have a holiday for today if that's on offer, or a St Alban's day, or even a St Cuthbert's day (though that's a bit earlier in the year). Trafalgar day is no good because that's Britain and I think it would be good to have a English rather than British day.
April the 23rd is a good...
It's not a huge deal on its own, but it's the start of a plan to let clubs finish lower in the league and still get in the premier tournament because of their history. It's for teams like Liverpool finishing 5th or 6th and then getting in CL anyway. I can't see any way in which it's a good...
The new Champions League format still has this in it:
"The final two places will go to the clubs with the highest club coefficient over the last five years that have not qualified for the Champions League group stage but have qualified either for the Champions League qualification phase, the...
