Sun's just come out here in mid Sussex. Another load of panic about nothing. Although I expect a government announcement shortly telling us we cannot leave our homes except for 30 minutes exercise a day, we cannot meet anyone anywhere, and we must all have an anti-storm vaccine.
Exactly. If the top 40 referees in the country are white, then so be it. If the top 40 referees are black, so be it. This crazy focus on the colour of people's skin has got to stop.
Was just going to say exactly the same thing (although not sure Roy Jennings could be considered a half back?) ... great memories of those years. It was so good being an Albion supporter.
RIP Steve.
Items 2 and 3 on the list are a complete waste of space. The only discussion about the women's team should be a proposal to disband it and spend the money on something useful.
I just couldn't understand why Gross took the penalty. When was the last one he took for us? Either MacAllister or Maupay would have been the obvious choice. Who made the decision? And why?
I would certainly have voted Conservative, however I absolutely refuse to vote for a party that stole two years of my life because of these ridiculous lockdowns and other restrictions. I hope Nigel Farage re-enters politics and I would vote for whichever party he's involved in.
Those are the facts. It's pointless trying to pretend that there's a national interest in women's football and having the matches played in massive stadiums in front of crowds of 1000. It should have been started at a grass roots level and built from there if and when justified.
The business...
I would guess about 100 with probably about 50 of those being freebies.
Why the need to attempt to build a women's league when it is quite clear most people couldn't give a damn?
Men haven't seen women playing netball and said "we want some of that" and set up a men's netball league.
I feel genuinely sorry for the Newcastle supporters. They deserve better. However I am totally opposed to the Saudi ownership and the fact that they can now buy their way to success in the same way Man City have. There are a lot of things wrong with top flight football.
There's a sentence with the word "had" eleven times consecutively.
Smith, where Jones had had had, had had had had; had had had had the examiner's approval.
My aunt told me that one back in the 1950s.
