[Football] Where will you be watching the England Euro Final?

I have no interest whatsoever in women's football. I've watched none of it so far and certainly won't be watching the final.

[Other Sport] Homophobia alive & well down under

Not on the shirts, no. What about the poor folk in Yemen, the Uighurs, Hong Kong residents? Some would argue that all were causes that deserved to be on shirts. The easiest way to handle it is no messages on shirts. Period.

[Other Sport] Homophobia alive & well down under

They're a football team. They should not have messages of support for any cause on their shirts. Next it will be "black lives matter", "save the rainforest", "save the seals", "support Ukraine" They'll need much bigger shirts to get all the lefty slogans on. Lighten up NSC folks. You take...

    [Politics] Brexit

Why do people choose to go away on the first day of the school holidays? It's always chaos somewhere. Roads, airports, ports. Some folks never learn.

[News] Heat emergency declared in England

Mass hysteria. A couple of days of hot weather and the country goes mad. A bit similar to our reaction to a dusting of snow. Madness.

    [Other Sport] Wimbledon 2022

I'm not interested in tennis, but saw a bit of the final stages of Nadal's game. A question. Why so much support for Nadal from the crowd? He's not British. He's won quite enough in his career. Shirley the Wimbledon crowd should be supporting the underdog? Isn't that the British thing to do?

[Football] Saudis confiscate rainbow coloured toys

Confiscating rainbow coloured toys is the first good idea to come out of Saudi Arabia for a very long time.

    [Politics] Voting general election

I would vote tactically to ensure we didn't get a Labour government under any circumstances. Apart from that I would hope Mr Farage gets back into politics and I would vote for his party. Or maybe Reform UK.

England players taking the knee causing more problems than it solves

As it hasn't solved ANY problems so far, what's the point? An entirely empty gesture.Well done to the Hungarian kids.

[Albion] The Greatest Player to pull on an Albion shirt (to date)

My vote is for Bobby Smith. He was without doubt the greatest player to pull on an Albion shirt. Played for England 15 times, the most recent in the season before he joined Brighton.

    [Film] Ricky Gervais.

Watched the first 15 minutes of it last night. Best laugh I've had for a very very long time. He is such a clever, and funny, guy. Will watch the rest this evening.
