Daily Mail headline "Fans Fury". Based on what exactly? Who is "furious". Does it really matter that much? I do believe that it just might be possible to really really enjoy a football match without drinking beer.
Do agree however that making the decision 48 hours before the tournament starts...
Did anyone watch the Man U v Villa game last night? I watched the second half (the one with the goals) and Maguire was awful. Gave the ball away numerous times. A real liability. If Southgate was watching he must have broken into a cold sweat!!
Any comparison with the rest of Europe is irrelevant. The number is way way too high.. I don't mind immigration, but there is a system through which to apply. If you want to come to this country follow the correct procedure.
And another question. If things are so bad in all these countries that people are willing to risk their lives to come to the UK, how come so many of them have babies and young children? Surely if your country is such an awful state the last thing you'd want to do is bring a helpless baby into...
Wrong. We did not force them to come to the UK. There are dozens of other countries they could have gone to that would not have involved the danger of a channel crossing in a small boat.
Why are they coming to Britain? Why not apply to stay in France, or Italy, or Germany, or Holland, or Belgium? The majority are economic migrants. If they want to come to the UK they should apply through the proper channels.
Complete and utter waste of time and money. Why did we bother with a women's team? Are enough people interested? Obviously not. Let's face it, at club level it's not going to catch on and financially it's a no go.
All that booing was so childish, but I guess that's what football fans are about. How many of those booing would have turned down a job opportunity which was going to double or triple their salary? Anyone?
